Koganezawa entered the entertainment industry as an attendant to singer Saburo Kitajima, and later made his debut as an Enka singer in 1988. He became widely known through the commercial ‘Singer Koganezawa-kun’ for ‘Finish Cowherd’, drawing much attention.

His hit songs include ‘Thank You… Gratitude’, and he has been loved by people of all generations. A memorial comment has been released from singer Saburo Kitajima, and there has been an outpouring of grief from numerous fans.

Koganezawa had been struggling with poor health for a long time, but he persisted in providing inspiration to people through music until the end. His singing voice and personality will surely be remembered by many in the future.
