A malfunction has occurred in NTT DoCoMo’s smartphone payment service d payment, making some services unavailable from just after noon on February 2nd. The affected services are d payment (local stores) and d payment (mini apps), particularly in mini apps, impacting online shopping, mobile orders, insurance and more.

This malfunction made some services unavailable nationwide from around 0:04 PM to just after 1:00 PM. NTT DoCoMo has provided information titled Apology for the partial unavailability of d payment service on its official website, expressing its apologies to users.

Regarding this malfunction, NTT DoCoMo stated, We are working on resolving the issue, promising a prompt response. Due to the fact that this service is often used around lunchtime, it is affecting a large number of users.
