Darren Waller, the highly acclaimed tight end for the Giants, has returned from injured reserve after missing five games due to a hamstring injury sustained in Week 8. Waller made his first appearance on the practice field this week since the injury, marking his official activation on Saturday. Unfortunately, the Giants’ lineup has been hit with other injuries. Receiver Chris Olave and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk are confirmed as inactive.

Despite the challenges that player injuries present, the Giants remain strong. In particular, rookie Tommy DeVito has shown impressive resilience. Although facing intense pressure and having completed only 56% of his throws against a robust Saints defense, he has managed to not commit a single turnover during the Giants’ winning streak.

On the field, good fortune also arrived in the form of a 56-yard field goal by Giants kicker Randy Bullock during the first quarter. This performance set the Giants ahead with a 3-0 lead. The Saints fought back, with their pass rush rattling DeVito, managing to sack him four times for a halftime lead of 7-6.
