Today we look back on a significant date in US history – January 6th, three years since the infamous insurrection at the U.S Capitol. Representatives Pramila Jayapal and Ayanna Pressley both made notable statements on this day.

Jayapal, representing Washington’s 7th district, drew attention to the deadly assault on the US Capitol, Constitution and the country itself, commemorating the service and sacrifices made by many on that day.
