Actress Erika Sawajiri (37 years old) has announced her return to the entertainment industry. Her comeback will be in the play A Streetcar Named Desire, which is scheduled to begin on February 10, 2024.

Erika Sawajiri was convicted of violating the narcotics control law in February 2020, which forced her to temporarily suspend her activities in the entertainment industry. However, she will be restarting her acting career after about four years, with her main role in the play A Streetcar Named Desire.

Starting at the New National Theatre Small Theatre in Tokyo, the performance will then be held at the Morinomiya Piloti Hall in Osaka. The Tokyo performances will run from February 10 to 18, 2024, and the Osaka performances will run from February 22 to 25 of the same year.
