It has been reported that Mr. Masaki Kanda, a 72-year-old actor and host, has been absent from the TV Asahi’s travel program ‘Morning! It’s Live Travel Salad’ for three consecutive weeks. Mr. Kanda serves as the overall host of the program, which is broadcast live every Saturday morning at 8 o’clock.

The main reason for Mr. Kanda’s absence is said to be ‘body maintenance’, and his absences began with the broadcast on November 18. As a result, the program has been led by other staff members, including the co-host Ms. Nao Matsushita, for three consecutive weeks.
